Tales of a Speculative Future is an experimental project that uses the form of the book as a space for visual narrative. Taking references from Chris Marker’s La Jetée as a static image based narrative structure, as well as a range of popular science fiction films Tales of a Speculative Future constructs four narratives, each based on a different cultural anxiety that is displayed through science fiction tropes.
